Song Of The Day....

Today's Reflection:

“A Native American elder once described his own inner struggles in this manner: Inside of me there are two dogs. One of the dogs is mean and evil. The other dog is good. The mean dog fights the good dog all the time. When asked which dog wins, he reflected for a moment and replied, The one I feed the most.” ― George Bernard Shaw

Contact Oakland City Councilman Larry Reid

Please send letters to Councilman Reid, asking for his support in a plan to use the former Clarion Hotel as a residence for Seniors, with supportive services.

This need is much greater, than a 5 star hotel for a population that is growing and in great need of comprehensive medical and psycho-social support.

Today's Reflection:

I mean, either that guy in the corner in orange safety pants holding a protest sign and wearing a top hat is mentally disabled or he is the coolest fucking guy you will ever know.” ― Chuck Klosterman
