In Memory of Terri Tinsley

My Sister, My Friend

Such a wonderful dear, loving, and generous spirit. She will be missed. We sang Alto together and shared many times away from church that I cherish.

Her work with Minority AIDS Project for Transgenders can not be measured. She was a loyal activist for transgender rights and opportunities.

Terri Tinsley...always classy ALL WAYS a lady...

Hello,
I knew Terri all my life. She went to high school with my uncle, Jerry Lucas, and was much a part of our family.
I had been thinking of her for awhile, I think the last time I saw her was our family reunion up here in the Bay about 10 years ago.
*huge smile* She looked exactly the same as I remembered her!
I can't believe I missed re-connecting with her by just over a year. My cousin actually found your blog this evening and when she sent it to me I cried & cried & cried. I know that when I forward this on to the rest of the family - thank you for including her picture by the way - they will all be saddened as well.
I want to bombard you with questions about her, how was she, was she with family, was she living in LA? You don't have to respond, shoot! I don't even know if you will read this. I hope you do and feel free to write me back at: L_Martinez07@yahoo.com if you have any other pictures of Terri that you would like to share.
Again, thank you for sharing this in the mighty, mighty world of the internet.
