Poetry Circle at the Claremont Branch of the Berkeley Public Library feature you and what you like....
Come with a favorite poem -- or fine one here.
If you write poetry, please share one of your own. We will be taking turns in a reading circle.
Poetry can be sad or ecstatic, heartening or surprising. It can make sense out of what never has (and vice versa). Participate in the friendly atmosphere, and find the words doing their weave and swing and work. Bringing poetry is not necessary. We will have plenty here.
For more information call us 981-6820 at the Claremont Branch or visit the BPL website. This prorgram is sponsored byt the Friends of the Berkeley Public Library.
